On August 19th, 2014, it was "World Photo Day". In honor of that, and in anticipation of South Dakota’s 125th Anniversary of Statehood, the South Dakota Public Broadcasting entity held a photo event and contest with the them of “A Day in South Dakota.” They invited photographers from all over South Dakota to join in on this single day of photographing a day in the life of South Dakota.

I took a wide variety of photos on this day and have collected them all here in this gallery. I took photos of fields, roads, the State Capitol, landscapes and a beautiful sunset! I actually had a lot of fun running around looking for different photo opportunities. I hope you enjoy viewing a small slice of beautiful South Dakota!
