I attended one of the thousands of "photo walks" on July 24, 2010. This was part of a worldwide event organized by Scott Kelby. This was the third annual 'Scott Kelby Worldwide Photowalk'. There were over 1,100 groups organized around the world with over 33,000 people registered to walk.
The walk I attended was lead by SD Tourism Senior Photographer Chad Coppess and was held in Pierre, SD at the State Capitol and surrounding area and lasted for 2 hours. This gallery contains a variety of photos I took during this walk. When you are near the Capitol Building, it dominates your thoughts for taking photos of it. I have several already and took some more, but I wanted to capture some images that you might not take special notice of if you walk by them on a daily basis like I do.
