On April 13, 2013 I was able to attend the ZZ-3 concert at the Corn Palace in Mitchell, SD. I attended as part of a South Dakota Photography club gathering that the Mitchell club has organized. This concert was part of days events for us photographers.
This night was the first real time I had tried photographing a 'concert'. I found it a lot of fun because of the great music and performance from the band! But I found it frustrating as a photographer because of the lighting and the large number of poor photos I got. Regardless of that, I claim this photography event a thorough success! I hope you enjoy viewing these photos as much as I did taking them!
The ZZ-3 band is a tribute band to ZZ Top and I have to say, they do an absolute top notch job with their music. These guys are excellent performers and musicians. Stop by their web page at
