Every year a popular event is the Ft. Pierre Horse Races, here in South Dakota. I have lived in Pierre, SD for many years and had never attended one of these races. I finally attended in April, 2012 and though I had my family with me and couldn't stay long, I managed to get a few photos. I have to say it was an exciting event and the participants take this event serious! I hope to attend another race someday and get a better series of photos!
