Sylvan Lake is a man made lake that is part of Custer State Park in the Black Hills of South Dakota. The photos here are from a vacation we took in 2008. We stayed in a cabin one night next to the lake. My family and I took a walk around the lake that afternoon and I got a few family photos and afternoon photos of the lake. However, my main interest was reflection shots and is why we stayed at the cabin. The following morning I was setup to take photos at the lake by 4:00AM to catch the early morning light and sunrise on the lake. It was a beautiful morning and I was treated with some wonderful photos of this lake.
Hi Keith, They are beautiful. You father is up showering and I stumbled across these beautiful photos.
We are going to a Jazz Concert this afternoon, but this evening I will share all of these with him. I got through the Eagles and the Lake photos. C uster State Park is one of my favorite places. I like the photos of your darling daughters to start off the sequence in Sylvan Lake - that's the fun of experiencing such beautiful sites is sharing it with someone. Hi to everyone. We are having a wonderfuls time. Nancy
