On November 1st, 2014, the State of South Dakota hosted three different events to help celebrate the 125th Anniversary of becoming a state. This gallery contains photographs of the historic performance of the South Dakota Symphony Orchestra. Their performance marked the first time that the entire orchestra has played inside the State Capitol building. During the performance, they newly refurbished stained glass panels of the Rotunda and the Grand Stair Case were revealed with new LED backlighting. The performance by the orchestra was simply stunning and a fitting end to the days events.
