Here were I live, one of the big events is the fireworks show put on after the local rodeo ends in Fort Pierre, SD. It's not a particularly large or extraordinary fireworks display as far as those go, but we all enjoy it very much anyway. One of the challenges is to find an interesting way to photograph them, which I have not been very succesful with yet. However, one of the "can't miss" spots to photograph the fireworks is north of the South Dakota State Capitol building and shoot the fireworks as they go off in the background. This gallery is a collection of some of the photos I took on July 4th, 2011.
