On June 10, 2017 I attended a concert held outdoors at the Silver Spur in Ft. Pierre, SD. Both Cole Allen and Hairball had performances that night. I admit I'm not one to attend concerts, but on this night a small group of photographers, including myself, were afforded special access up front by the stage so of course I couldn't pass up the opportunity.
The Cole Allen Band played first. I wasn't familiar with him and his music so I did a search on him before attending. On his website it referenced he plays original blues-rock. It was apparent from the first song that this young man has some serious talent! Even for me, it was obvious to see that he can flat out play the guitar. The music was great, the performance was great, and I hope these photographs reflect that.
