I have always wanted to get photos of snowflakes that show the beautiful designs that nature provides. This was my first real attempt at taking these photos and clearly in need more experience with this, but I was happy to get the few photos that I did.
It's not as easy as it may seem to catch a snowflake that has a shape to it while the wind is blowing! I suspect my neighbors thought I was outside praying to the snow gods to stop the snow as I was out standing in the snow with my hands raised up trying to catch these tiny little objects!
These few photos have been cropped for better viewing and I had to heavily edit the dark areas to darken the distracting cloth fibers behind them so only the snowflake appears in the image.
