In May of 2008, I attended the spring rendezvous held at Ft. Crevecoeur in Creve Coeur, IL. My parents had began a tradition of going there the previous few years since my aunt was heavily involved with it. My mom passed away in the spring of 2008 and the fellow rendezvous members wanted to honor her memory by planting a tree, so I traveled with my dad to the rendezvous. Despite a light turnout, the event was a success and very interesting and I can see why my mom enjoyed it. Here are some of the sights I found at this rendezvous.
