The Vietnam Veterans Memorial (The Wall), invokes different reactions from different people. On our vacation to the Baltimore/D.C. area in 2009, when we visited this memorial, I found it to be a solemn place. This memorial is heavily visited, and as such, it was impossible to get photos of the overall wall without a large mass of people. That's alright though, as the number of poeple is a testament to the respect still held by many towards the brave men and women whose names reside on the wall.
