The photos of these antelope were taken in Custer State Park in the Black Hills of South Dakota. There is very limited hunting allowed within Custer State Park but the antelope is not one of the animals that can be hunted, therefore it is possible to get closer to them than out on the plains where they would run away as quick as you could blink.
