As in past years, I again took photos of the Fort Pierre Rodeo Fireworks display standing up behind the South Dakota State Capitol Building. The trees up there have been growing these past years, but there are still some clear lines of sight to frame the fireworks behind the Capitol Building. This years, I was back to shooting just a single camera. They started the fireworks display much earlier than in any past year, which took me, and a few other photographers, by surprise. The show didn't seem to last as long as past shows either, but it's fun capturing these images and enjoying the fireworks no matter!
